Connections that transform: Createx will offer business spaces

Corferias is preparing to hold the sixth edition of the Textile Industry Exhibition for Clothing, Createx, on May 7, 8 and 9, 2024, providing a platform for networking and generating business opportunities and access to new markets for national entrepreneurs in the supply chain, inputs, textiles, machinery, complete wholesale package, cross-cutting services with the entire range of goods and services for clothing manufacturers, importers and marketers.

The event will also be a meeting place and will promote the growth of participating businesses, where Corferias, together with ProColombia as an institutional ally, will have a business roundtable as a key platform to connect companies and professionals from the textile and fashion sector.

This business roundtable, which will feature the participation of national and international buyers, will be held on May 7, 8 and 9, hoping to surpass what was done last year, in which international buyers participated, prioritized in Latin America and the Caribbean, representing countries such as Costa Rica, Ecuador, the United States, and the Dominican Republic.

In the 2023 edition, these buyers met with exhibitors from companies in departments such as: Valle del Cauca, Antioquia, Santander, Cundinamarca, Tolima and Bogotá Capital District.

Lilian Conde, project manager at Createx , highlights the importance of creating these commercial spaces, which boost the sector: “At Corferias we are committed to promoting the growth of the Colombian textile industry, which is why at Createx we are opening these meeting points so that companies can boost their export vocation.”

The Createx business roundtable will thus be a key opportunity for registered exhibitors to establish business contacts and promote innovation and development in the sector.

Here we highlight some key aspects of the business roundtable at the Createx fair:

  • Participants: Companies from the textile and fashion sector will be present at the Createx business roundtables, including textile manufacturers, input suppliers, distributors, retailers, and even government entities or associations related to the industry.


  • Objectives: Business spaces are expected to facilitate the generation of business opportunities, promote strategic alliances, showcase products and services, identify new clients or suppliers, and encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing.


  • Meeting agenda:   During the days of the fair, a pre-planned meeting agenda is established between the participants, based on mutual business interests. These meetings may include product presentations, discussions on market trends, trade negotiations, among other topics relevant to the textile sector.


  • Spaces and tools: The show provides designated spaces for meetings, as well as technological tools for managing agendas and following up on contacts. In addition, logistical support is provided to ensure that meetings run effectively.


  • Networking: In addition to the scheduled meetings, networking among participants is encouraged through social events, networking sessions, exhibition areas, and activities related to the textile and clothing industry.
